Area Home Services Residential Concrete Coatings Limited Lifetime Warranty
1-Year Labor Warranty on Workmanship
At Area Home Services, we stand behind the quality of our work. We offer a 1-year labor warranty on all concrete coating installations. This warranty covers any defects in workmanship that may arise during the first year after installation. If any issues related to the installation process occur, we will promptly address and resolve them at no additional labor cost to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors, misuse, changes in the substrate, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines.
Maintenance Guidelines
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your concrete coating, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend sweeping or dusting the surface regularly to remove dirt and debris, which can cause scratching. For cleaning, use mild, non-abrasive cleaners such as Simple Green, Pine-Sol, CLR, or Dawn. Avoid long-term exposure to bleach, and stay away from acids and highly corrosive materials. After snow or salt exposure, be sure to sweep off any sand and salt, then rinse with water. A squeegee works great for clearing water off the surface. For tougher cleaning, let the cleaner sit on the floor for 5-10 minutes, then scrub with a scrub brush or stiff-bristled broom. Allow the cleaner to sit for an additional 5 minutes before rinsing for a revitalized floor. These simple guidelines will help maintain the integrity and beauty of your concrete coating for years to come.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
We proudly stand behind our concrete coating products with a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. Our coatings are guaranteed not to yellow due to UV exposure for as long as you own your property. Additionally, our products will not chip, peel, separate, or delaminate from properly installed and prepared surfaces, whether vertical or horizontal, interior or exterior.
This warranty ensures that all coatings are free from defects when applied under the appropriate conditions. If a failure occurs, we will replace the materials at no additional cost to you, excluding shipping, taxes, and any applicable tariffs. In the event of a claim, the only responsibility of Area Home Services is to provide replacement materials for the affected areas.
To process a warranty claim, an Area Home Services representative or an original factory-trained installer must evaluate the issue to determine the cause and extent of the failure before any repairs are carried out. We will work diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Warranty Conditions
This warranty is valid for the materials at their original installation site. The warranty will be void if the materials are installed in violation of local building codes or ordinances, or if they are used in any manner not intended or recommended by the product specifications.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, alterations, or misuse, including but not limited to chewing or clawing by animals, cutting, chipping, accidents, fire, exposure to corrosive liquids, extreme heat (over 250°F), smoke damage, iron oxide penetration, or hydrostatic water pressure. The warranty is also void if the surface preparation does not follow our recommended guidelines, or if our products are installed in ways not specified in the instructions—such as mixing with unapproved solvents or thinners, or applying over existing paints or coatings not suitable for our products.
For proper installation, the concrete surface must be thoroughly prepared by mechanical grinding to remove all previous coatings, sealers, efflorescence, water repellents, curing compounds, oils, grease, waxes, and any other substances that may interfere with adhesion. The surface must meet the required profile of 50 to 100 grit, have a neutral pH of 7, and moisture vapor transmission must not exceed 3 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Area Home Services is not responsible for testing moisture transmission within the concrete substrate.
Our warranty liability is limited to the cost of replacement materials for the affected areas only.
How to Make A Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact Area Home Services at service@areahomeservices.com Include details about the material type, purchase date, and a description of the issue. To process your claim, we require photos of the alleged damage to be sent with your email.

Warranty claims are limited to the cost of replacement materials needed to repair or replace the defective product. Any additional costs related to installation or price increases beyond the original purchase price will be the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that all surfaces can become slippery, especially when wet or exposed to fluids. Area Home Services is not liable for any injury resulting from slip-and-fall accidents. While we offer slip-resistant additives to help prevent such accidents, we cannot guarantee that slips will not occur. It remains the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the safety of themselves and their guests.
Paid Repairs
Customers experiencing damage due to cracks, crumbling, or substrate failure can have their coatings repaired for a minimum service charge starting at $250. If damage is caused by the customer, such as from accidents or misuse, repairs can also be performed at the customer’s expense.
